It's Time Solutions · Shawn Healy
I help organizations align strategy and people, remove the barriers holding performance back, and strengthen the culture, execution, and leadership required for long-term growth.
The Core Idea
Every organization develops patterns — in how leadership leads, how people communicate, how decisions get made, how culture forms, how execution actually happens, and how customers are treated. Those patterns are interconnected, whether anyone's mapped them or not.
Aligned, and organizations move faster, adapt easier, and keep their best people.
Misaligned, and the symptoms show up as turnover, silos, meetings that eat hours and solve nothing, and growth that stalls no matter how hard everyone's working.
From Insight to Action
The work is not about applying a generic program. It's about understanding the patterns already shaping the organization, identifying what's helping or inhibiting performance, and aligning the parts that matter most.
How the Work Happens
The work always starts the same way: confidential, one-on-one conversations across every level of the organization — not a survey, not an assessment tool. What comes out of those conversations becomes a collective voice, and a plan built around what's actually true.
Confidential one-on-ones across every level — leadership, management, the floor — to separate what's real from what's just perception.
The stated challenge is rarely the real one — and sometimes there isn't one yet, just a sense that things could run better. Either way, old habits and patterns hide underneath the surface, whether that's a symptom everyone's already arguing about or a ceiling nobody's named out loud.
Solutions built with the people who have to live with them — and monitored well past the point most consultants call it done.
Proof, Not Promises
The difference between including the right people and skipping that step isn't abstract. It shows up on the balance sheet.
One manager proactively brought union leadership into a corporate-driven change — smooth rollout, no disruption. A different manager, technically within his rights, skipped that same courtesy. The result was a costly plant shutdown. Same industry, same kind of change — the only variable was who was included.
An entire division — about 35 employees — was slated to be let go and rebuilt from scratch. Instead, I met with every person, one-on-one, and helped reallocate nearly all of them into roles that actually fit their skills. Not one lost a job. One young man — wrong job, right person — ended up in the mailroom. Months later, senior executives making 10x his salary were stopping by HR just to say how much his work meant to them. Replacing 35 employees the traditional way typically runs 50–200% of salary per role (SHRM) — this cost nothing but time, and it delivered results nobody expected.

Twenty-Five Years. Their Words, Not Mine.
"Shawn's vision and expertise was invaluable in the success of ACT! His ability to identify critical success factors and develop a plan of action is unparalleled. ACT! was a better company because of Shawn, and I believe yours will be too."
"Upon assuming my new role, I was quite surprised to find I had also assumed a consultant, Shawn Healy... while initially (and wrongly) thinking of Shawn as a 'camp counselor,' I realized he had so much more to offer. Shawn was a consultant, advisor and friend. He was a key contributor for our plant and we did 'move the needle.'"

Why Now
Whatever's causing the strain won't resolve on its own. And the people closest to it — the ones living inside the pattern every day — are rarely the ones positioned to see their way out of it. That's not a knock on your team. It's just how patterns work.
The Decision Point
Whatever's really going on in your organization is costing something right now — turnover, stalled growth, hours nobody can get back. Or maybe nothing's visibly broken, and the real question is what's standing between good and great. Either way, the question isn't whether there's room to improve. It's whether you decide to go after it.
Stop managing around it. Start building what's next.
